What kind of artwork do I need for custom Embroidery?

You will need to provide us with the sharpest image (typically called "camera ready art") of your company logo as possible. We can complete designs from business cards, faxes or even an item already embroidered or screen printed (you’d have to send us the garment). Camera ready art is the preferred method. Upon request, we can create a logo or make editing changes to your existing logo. Our art department can complete this service for you at a rate of 55.00 per hour. We can also make slight changes to your existing logo in the digitizing process for a nominal charge. Complexity of the design plays a role in the final cost of digitizing the design. Embroidery/Digitizing Information and Charges

Text only embroidery on a garment supplied by us with up to 7,000 stitches in one of our standard 92 font style choices is $5.00. Each additional placement (like a name) is $3.00.

To come up with a price for embroidery of a custom logo or design there are a few things that we need to know upon which the costs depend.

1. Do you already have your design Digitized?

This is a computer file (we use .dst ) that converts your art file into a stitch file the embroidery machine sews from. If you have previously paid to have your logo digitized, you own that file. If so, you can request this file from the previous vendor and e-mail this file to us.

2. What is the Size of your logo?

The logo size itself can make a big difference in the price of a logo. One made for a jacket back will cost considerably more than a logo made for a left chest placement.

3. Number of items you need embroidered.

This price lessens with the higher number of garments ordered. This is due to deeper price breaks from our suppliers and less set up time for us allowing greater efficiency.

We will give you a quote based on the number of stitches, size of placement and the number if items you need embroidered. Charges for digitizing normally run $15.00 per thousand stitches. This is a one-time charge since once the design is digitized we can use it over and over. Average size logos (5,000-10,000 stitches) embroidered on your choice of garments on average cost $5.00-7.00 each. You will need to consider the cost of the item you will need embroidered, shipping and tax if applicable.

Turnaround Time for Orders

We can ship your product under normal circumstances within 10 days. This does not include digitizing the logo or design, which can take up to 4 days. This time estimation is starting from when all necessary final approvals are completed. It is possible to turn product around in as little as 48 hours depending on Quantity, Complexity, and Garment availability.

We ship our goods UPS ground unless we receive different instructions from our customer. Charges are based on total price of order. Please see chart below for exact pricing.
