1. Why put our company's logo on Shirts, Hats, Jackets, etc..?
A lot of company's go through a tremendous effort to create a logo
for their company that makes a statement and captures the essence of
what the company stands for. Consider Shirts, Jackets, Hats, Bags,
Blankets, etc. as advertising for your company. All of these items are
basically miniature billboards that are never torn down. How often do
you throw a Shirt or Hat away? Chances are that embroidered items will
last a lot longer and they are extremely less expensive than any other
advertising your company may ever do!

4. What kind of artwork do I need?
You will need to provide
us with the sharpest image (typically called "camera ready art") of your company logo as possible.
We can complete designs from business cards, faxes or even an item
already embroidered or screen printed (you’d have to send us the
garment). Camera ready art is the preferred method. This image can
be e-mailed to us or mailed via the postal service

5. What is digitizing?
Digitizing is the process
by which a digitizer turns your artwork into a thread file that
is read by an embroidery machine. This is a
complex operation that takes years of training and practice to master.
There are many considerations that must be taken into account such
as the item to be sewn on. Each type of garment has it’s own
characteristics that will effect the way the stitches will sew on to
the garment.
Any digitizing costs are a one-time fee, per design. Once the
design is done, it becomes a file that can be used again and again. We
save all designs on diskette indefinitely for later use on future
orders.

6. What type of items can be embroidered?
Any item that can ‘hooped’!
Hooping an item is necessary to keep the item taught and held while
the machine is stitching.

7. How much does it cost to have embroidery work done?
Text only embroidery, up to 7,000 stitches, in one of our standard
92 font style choices is $5.00. Each additional placement (like a
name) is $3.00.
To come up with a price for custom embroidery of a design there are
a few things that we need to know upon which the costs depend.
1. Do you already have your design Digitized? (a computer file
that converts your art file into a stitch file the embroidery
machine sews from)
If you have ever paid to have your logo digitized, you own that
file. If so, you can request this file from the previous vendor and
e-mail this file to us.
If you do not already your design digitized see the above heading
on instructions of what to do.
2. Size of your logo.
Your logo size itself can make a big difference in the price of a
logo. One made for a jacket back will cost considerably more than a
logo made for a left chest placement.
3. Number of items you need embroidered.
This price lessens with the number of garments ordered due to
lessened set up changes and efficiency.
We will give you a quote based on the number of stitches, size of
placement and the number if items you need embroidered. Charges for
digitizing normally run $15.00 per thousand stitches. This is a
one-time charge as once the design is digitized we can use it over and
over. Average size logos (5,000-10,000 stitches) embroidered on your
choice of garments on average cost $5.00-7.00 each.
You will need to consider the cost of the garment or item you will
need embroidered and also add a shipping cost and tax if applicable.

9. Why does it cost less to do volume as opposed to a one or two
piece order?
The embroidery process takes a lot of set-up time. Each individual
design or even lettering has its own properties and stitch parameters
that must be applied to run correctly and come out with quality
results. The machine has to be set-up for each particular design or
lettering. All of this takes a lot of time to do. If we are to
embroider a large order, the set-up time is well worth the effort as
we can set-up the machine once for a long run. It costs more time and
money by spending more time setting up small runs than the job takes
to sew. Also, our cost from our supplier decreases as our orders
increase. As this happens, we are able to pass these savings onto you.
The set up fees are waived for orders over 12 pieces and the garment
price is decreased as more items are ordered.

10. What is your turnaround time for delivery?
We can ship your product under normal circumstances within 10 days.
This does not include digitizing the logo or design, which can take up
to 4 days. This time estimation is based from the time the artwork is
furnished to us and you accept a final quote. It is possible to turn
product around in as little as 48 hours depending on Quantity,
Complexity, and Garment availability.

11. How does the process of Embroidery work?
We use embroidery software that drives our high tech embroidery
production line. This software is coupled with our state of the art
SWF Embroidery machines and is what makes the difference between poor
and excellent quality in our workmanship. With this state of the art
software and computerized embroidery machines we are able to create
your logo from art to thread with excellent results, which is then
saved to disk. This disk file is then transferred to the embroidery
machine, which stitches the design according to the specifications
within the digitized file.
